How it’s calculated
Wall area is perimeter times height, less about 20 sq ft per door and 15 sq ft per window. The ceiling adds length times width.
Sheets are the area plus 10% for cuts, divided by 32 sq ft (4 x 8) or 48 sq ft (4 x 12), rounded up. Longer sheets mean fewer seams to tape.
Screws: roughly one per square foot of drywall hung.
